You Are Not Alone is a  Non Profit voluntary organization

Founded in May 2009, You Are Not Alone (YANA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth with essential life skills. Our mission is to equip young people with the tools they need to succeed, including cooking, cleaning, showing respect to others, preparing for their future, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, building strong relationships, and achieving a balanced life.

We also extend our support to families through programs like Greater Love, Greater Works. Additionally, our Modern Males program is specifically designed to guide teenage boys and men aged 16 and older in their personal development.

Since our inception, YANA has organized several youth camps that focus on physical fitness, personal development through The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, and weekly educational outings. Our fundraisers, which involve active youth participation, are designed to impart valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Successfully led the expansion of You Are Not Alone (YANA) from a grassroots initiative into a multifaceted youth empowerment organization. This expansion included the launch of several impactful programs such as summer camps, after-school initiatives, and community service events, all designed to develop essential life skills in young participants.  Additionally, I orchestrated multiple fundraising efforts that significantly contributed to the organization’s financial sustainability and the continued growth of its programs, ultimately enhancing the lives of countless youth and fostering stronger community connections.
